Specifications
O-m6 manufactures MPO-MTP® cables with high-precision MT ferrules (Elite). They are available with 8 to 72 fibres (multi-mode or single-mode). All of our cables are built to order according to the requirements of your application.
- 8, 12, 24, 48 and 72 fibre versions.
- 16 and 32 fibre versions.
- Stainless steel jacket available on request.

Procedure for cleaning
Specifications
- Keep connectors clean.
- Put the protective cap back on when not in use.
- The fibre’s bend radius must always be greater than 30 mm.
- Do not touch the ferrule prior to installation.
- Make sure each connector is installed properly.
Steps:
- Wet lens paper with filtered water and rub it gently over the surface of the ferrule. Repeat with a wipe intended for delicate tasks to blot up excess water.
- Do not use isopropyl alcohol or acetone.
- Hook up the connector or put the cap back on.
- For male connectors, clean the ferrule by inserting the tissue between the guide pin
Cassettes and MPO connector cleaners also yield acceptable results.
Before you inspect a connector, always make sure the light source is turned off.
