Polarization maintaining patchcords are used where linearly polarized light is required, notwithstanding fiber movements and stress. These cables are mainly used in instrumentation, interferometry and fiber optic sensing. They are available at specific wavelengths with 900 μm, 2 mm or 3 mm loose tube. They can be further custom made according to your own drawings and specifications.
- Fixed operating wavelengths from 350 to 1550 nm
- Panda fiber from stock, Bow-Tie and Oval also available
- Available with most keyed connectors
- May be assembled with any type of jacket
- Passive and active alignment to the slow axis or fast axis
